MPSC Syllabus 2022: Maharashtra Public Service Commission has revised the syllabus of the MPSC Main Examination and has released the revised syllabus on the official website at mpsc.gov.in. The syllabus for MPSC prelims has remained unchanged. MPSC 2022 exam will be conducted as per the revised syllabus declared by the commission.
Basic Info About MPSC Rajyaseva Exam
Educational Qualifications: Any Graduation or those appearing in final year of graduation can also appear.
Age: Minimum age 19 years, the maximum age 38 years. Maximum age relaxable OBC candidates (Max. 43yrs.) and SC/ST/NT candidates (Max. 43yrs)
Attempts at the exam:
- Open – 06
- OBC and remaining backward classes- 09
- SC/ST – No limit on attempt

Stages of MPSC State Services (Rajyaseva) Exam:
Prelims: Objective Type Paper – General Studies – 200 marks (0.25 negative marking) – 2 Hours duration
NOTE: Only after successfully clearing the Prelims exam, you can apply for the Main exam otherwise you have to reappear in Prelims in the next year.
Long Answer type papers:
- English paper – 100 Marks
- Marathi paper – 100 marks
Objective Type Questions:
- General Studies paper I- 150 marks, 2 Hours duration
- General Studies paper II – 150 marks, 2 Hours duration
- General Studies paper III – 150 marks, 2 Hours duration
- General Studies paper IV- 150 marks, 2 Hours duration
There are NO optional subject for Main exam.
Negative Marking for GS papers – For 2 wrong answers 1 mark will be cut.
Interview: 100 marks
Total: 900 Marks
NOTE: Only after successfully clearing the Prelims and Main exam, you can get a chance to appear in the Interview otherwise you have to reappear in the Prelims and Main exam in the next year.
