Orissa High Court Recruitment 2024 – Eligibilty, Registration Process & Apply Process

Orissa High Court (OHC) released a notification on 14th May 2024 for recruitment on various posts. The registration window will open soon at the official site of the OHC orissahighcourt.nic.in

Registration Date For Candidates

As released in the notification of OHC, registration for recruitment will start from 20th May 2024 and the last date to fill the form is 18th June 2024. Registration will be done only through online application mode.

Recruitment For The Post Of 

OHC will recruit candidates for a total of 182 vacancies.

These posts are:-

  • 147 posts of Assistant Section Officer (ASO)
  • 35 posts of Junior Stenographer (JS)

How To Apply For Recruitment In OHC?

  • Visit the official site of OHC.
  • The department has provided a link for recruitment to these posts.
  • Click on the given link and enter all the required information.
  • Submit the fees for registration.
  • After payment registration will complete.
  • Take a printout of the registration form.

Registration Fees For OHC Posts

Candidates need to pay ₹500 for registration. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from fee payment.

Candidates should note that once payment is done, it is non refundable.

Qualifying Criteria For The Posts Of ASO And JS

  • The age limit of the candidates should be from 21- 32 years as on 14th May 2024.
  • Candidates born after 13 May 2003 cannot apply for these posts.
  • Upper Age relaxation for the category is provided by the Orissa government.
  • Qualification for ASO: candidates need to possess a bachelor’s degree regardless of stream from a recognized university and must have computer knowledge.
  • Qualification for JS: candidates must have a bachelor’s degree regardless of stream from a recognized university and also candidates must have a speed of 80 words per minute in shorthand and 40 words per minute in typewriting.

Along with this, candidates are required to have computer knowledge.

Selection Process For OHC recruitment

For ASO –

  • Pre-examination with subjects General Knowledge, General English, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude.
  • Mains examination
  • Computer assessment test
  • Interview

For JS –

  • Qualifying test in English
  • Computer test
  • Skill test of shorthand writing and typewriting.
