Odisha HC Junior Stenographer Recruitment – Under Advt No. 02/2024 and Advt No. 03/2024, Orissa High Court has released notification regarding recruitment. In the notification total of 182 vacancies are for the post of Assistant section officer (ASO) and Junior Stenographer (JS).

For the post of Junior Stenographer, registration will start from 20th May to 18 June 2024.
Eligibility Criteria For Junior Stenographer In Orissa High Court
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in any stream, from a recognized university.
- Candidates must have a speed of 80 words/ minute
- Candidates must also have a speed of 40 words/minute in typewriting.
- The age of candidates should be between 21 to 32 years as of 14th May 2024.
- 5 years upper age relaxation in SC / ST/ WOMEN category.
- 10 years upper age relaxation in the PWD Category.

- Click on the provided link and fill in all the basic details required in the form.
- Make fee payments for registration to complete and submit the application form.
- After completion of registration, take the printout of the application form.
Registration Fees For The Application Form
Candidates need to submit the fees for the process of registration. They need to make a payment of ₹500 for the application form. SC /ST /PWD category candidates are exempted from paying fees. Payment can be made through
debit card, credit card, net banking, and other internet sources.
Selection Process For Junior Stenographer Post
For selection for the post of Junior Stenographer, candidates will go through 3 phases.

Qualifying English Test
This test will be a written test and assess the candidate’s knowledge regarding the subject.

Computer Knowledge Test
For the post of junior stenographer, candidates must have the knowledge of computers. Candidates’ computer tests will be conducted through two modes – written test and skill test in basic computer knowledge.

Skill Test
Candidates need to take a test to assess the skill of short handwriting and typewriting required for eligibility. The skill test will be 100 marks.
