MPSC Exam Pattern 2024 And Marking Scheme

MPSC Exam Pattern 2024 – MPSC is run by the Government. Maharashtra recruits candidates for various posts in Group B and Group C. The languages ​​of the MPSC exam are English and Marathi. Before taking the exam, you should practice the previous years’ MPSC Preparatory and Main Exam papers. 

As per the exam pattern

  • 2 Prelims papers
  • 6 Mains papers with no optional subjects. 

You must answer 180 questions in the Preliminary Exams for a total of 400 points. The total score of the main exam is 800 points. There are a number of interviews. Your character will be evaluated out of 100.

MPSC Exam Have Three Levels

  • MPSC Preliminary Exam – 2 papers – 400 marks
  • MPSC Main Exam – 6 papers – 800 marks
  • MPSC Interview – 100 marks

MPSC Preliminary Exam Pattern 2024

MPSC 2024 will consist of a Preliminary Exam with 2 papers and a Main Exam with 6 papers. Pretest is the first step of the main test. Authorities will release the MPSC Preparatory Exam Answer Key immediately after the exam is over. Candidates must have at least 33% marks in the Preliminary Exams to be eligible to appear for the MPSC Mains exam.

  • Each question paper is worth 200 marks
  • The paper’s duration of each  is 2 hours
  • 1/4 points will be deducted from the applicants for each wrong answer. Previously, candidates were deducted points for each incorrect answer.
  • All questions are set in Marathi and English.
  • Marks in the preliminary exams will be calculated only for candidates selected for the MPSC Mains exam.

MPSC Mains Exam Pattern 2024

The board will decide about the candidates with the lowest MPSC preliminary exam marks and will decide that they get their admit cards to appear in the MPSC Mains exam.

  • There will be 6 papers in MPSC Mains 2024.
  • 1/4 point will be deducted for each wrong answer to the target question. Previously, contestants’ points were deducted every time they answered incorrectly.
  • The determination of questions in Paper II is not faulty if the answer is wrong.
  • In all MPSC Mains exams, qualifying marks are 45 and 40 marks for certain candidates and certain levels.

All tests are compulsory, and 1 point will be deducted for each wrong answer.

MPSC Interview

  • This is the final stage of the MPSC selection process
  • Candidates who will score the cut-off score in Form II will appear in the calculation plate.
  • MPSC Aptitude Test will be conducted by an authorized and impartial panel.
  • Through the interview, the candidate’s current knowledge, in-depth knowledge, communication, and mental abilities will be tested.

Before starting the application, exam type, subject, etc. You must have detailed knowledge of the subject. Often seen in exams to get good grades.
