FCI Assistant Grade 3 Apply Online 2024 – Steps

View the FCI Assistant Grade 3 Online Application Process:

  • Go to FCI’s official website.
  • Navigate to the ‘FCI AG 3 2024 area’ on the webpage.
  • Select the “FCI Assistant Grade 3 Application Link” link to apply.
  • Click the “Apply Online” link on a new page afterward.
  • You will be taken to a new page with the link “Click here for new registration.” Click this link and enter all the required information. After adding all the information, select “Submit.”
  • Proceed to log in and complete the application. Complete all the fields with caution.
  • Upload the necessary files in the format specified.
  • Verify the information and apply.
  • Print off the online application form and the electronic receipt for your records.

Eligibility:

A potential applicant will be:

  • An individual of Indian descent who has immigrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries such as Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to settle in India permanently is considered an Indian citizen, as well as a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibet.

Age Limit:

Applicants for the position must be at least eighteen years old. The upper age restriction is shown below:

  • For the 27-year term of AG 3 (General, Accounts, Technical, and Depot)
  • Regarding AG 3 (Hindi) – Age 28

Assistant Grade -III (Depot) G a graduate degree in any field from an accredited university with computer competency.
Assistant Grade-III (Hindi) H *degree from an accredited university with a major in Hindi. Proficiency in the language, especially in translation. A certificate or diploma program in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, lasting at least a year, from an accredited university or other government-approved institution.

The ability to type in Hindi would also be necessary, as the primary responsibility of an Assistant Grade-III (Hindi) would be translating from English to Hindi and vice versa. During the probationary term, a test of Hindi typing at a pace of thirty words per minute will be conducted to evaluate the same. Probation confirmation is contingent upon the candidate passing the required typing test.

The candidates will need to go through two steps of the selection process:

  • Phase 2 (Varies for Every Post)

Phase 1 Exam Pattern for FCI Assistant Grade 3 Notification:

The Phase I online test will be the same regardless of the post. A deduction equivalent to one-fourth (1/4) of the entire score for that Question will be applied to each wrong response. The Phase I Online Exam features the following test structure.

Exam Pattern for the Grade 3 FCI Assistant Phase 2 Paper 1:

The candidate should know that in Phase II, questions will receive a negative marking of one-fourth of the total mark. A question will not receive a negative grade if left blank, meaning the candidate does not mark their response. See the following design for Paper 1:

Each Question will have two marks.

90 minutes
AG-III (Technical) For applicants applying for Post Code F {Assistant Grade-III (Technical)}, there will be 60 multiple-choice questions in Agriculture, Botany, and Zoology (Group-A) or Agriculture, Chemistry, and Physics (Group-B) to evaluate post-specific technical competence of the relevant stream.

Each Question will have two marks.

90 minutes
AG-III (Hindi) Sixty multiple-choice questions: 4 general knowledge questions about Hindi literature; 20 word/sentence translations from Hindi to 

English; 20 word/sentence translations from English to Hindi; 4 questions about official language policy; 4 about official language act; 4 about official language rules; and four about the Department of Official Language’s annual program. Each Question will have two marks.

90 minutes

Salary:

The candidates’ salaries would vary by zone, from Rs. 28200 to Rs. 79200. Every department and zone uses the same FCI Assistant Grade III pay scale.
