BPSC APO Notification 2024 – Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is likely to release the notification for the post of Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) by the end of 2024.
Once the notification is released by BPSC, candidates will be able to apply for the post of APO. Notification will be released on the official site of BPSC https://bpsc.bih.nic.in/
Registration notification for the post of APO is still to be announced by the BPSC hence there is no confirmed data related to the exam. There are approximately 500 vacancies for this post (this is an estimated date, official confirmation is awaited). Registration window is likely to open for 4 weeks once it is opened for the eligible candidates. Registration fees required to submit by General/ OBC males are ₹600 and for SC/ST/ female candidates, fees are ₹150 for registration.
Eligibility Criteria For The Post Of APO
Candidates need to check the eligibility criteria listed by BPSC before they apply for the post vacancy of the APO.
- Required qualifications for candidates are that the candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- The age limit for a candidate should be between 21 to 37 years.
- For OBC there is an upper age relaxation of 3 years and for SC/ ST upper age relaxation is 5 years.
Exam Pattern For BPSC APO
This exam will be conducted in three phases:-
- Pre-examination
- Mains examination
- Interview
All three phases will have questions in both Hindi and English language.
Pre-examination will consist of a total of two papers. Each exam paper will have 100 questions. 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answers. Exams will be conducted online mode and 2 hours will be provided for each paper.
Qualifying students will get a chance to appear for Mains. The main examination will have 7 papers. Each paper will be given 3 hours. And it will be done through offline mode. Number of questions in the paper varies depending on the paper.
Students who are qualified Mains will appear for an Interview. Marks for the interview will be given under 100. This section will cover GK and law-related questions.
