UPSC CMS Admit Card 2024 Exam Date – UPSC CMS Notification, Exam Date

The UPSC Combined Medical Services 2024 Examination announcement was formally made public by the Union Public Service Commission on April 10.

On or before April 30, 2024, candidates may submit their applications if they wish to be recruited under MCD, CHS, or Indian Railways as MO Grade, ADMO, GDMO, or GDMO Gr-II.

UPSC CMS Admit Card 2024

UPSC CMS is yet to announce the admit card for the exam. It is expected to be released a week before the exam. Candidates need to download and take printouts of the admit card for entry into the exam center.

They can download their admit card from the above-mentioned website.

UPSC CMS Exam Date 2024

The UPSC CMS 2024 Exam is scheduled to be conducted on 14th July 2024 in offline mode at various exam centers. The exam time duration will be 02 hours for each paper.

Exam timings and exam center will be mentioned on the admit card.

Eligibility Criteria For UPSC CMS Exam 2024

  • Age Limit

For most of the posts, candidates’ age should not exceed 32 years as of 31st August,2024.

But for Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Sub-cadre of Central Health Services, the candidate’s upper age limit is 35 years.

  • Educational Qualification

Candidates who have completed their MBBS or those candidates who are going to complete their internship are eligible for the CMS exam. 

Selection Procedure For UPSC CMS Exam 2024

The exam will be conducted in two phases:-

Written Exam

Exams will be conducted in offline mode. The Question pattern will have multiple-choice questions. Candidates need to give two papers – Paper I (General Medicine and Paediatrics) and Paper II (Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Preventive & Social Medicine). For each paper, the duration will be 2 hrs. There will be 120 questions/papers each with 250 marks.

Interview

Personality tests of the candidates will be conducted through face-to-face interaction. It will be conducted in English mode with a total of 100 marks.
