GTTC Recruitment 2024 – Eligibilty, Vacancy & Registration Process

Government Tool Room & Training Centre (GTTC), Karnataka released a notification on 24th March 2024 for the various posts under Residual Parent and Kalyana Karnataka Cadre. The exam is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

Registration Window For Candidates

As per the notification released on 24th March, Registration for GTTC will be open from 24th March to 23rd April 2024. Candidates will get one month to apply for the GTTC exam.

Vacancies In The GTTC Exam

There are a total of 76 vacancies for the candidates appearing for the GTTC exam. Out of a total of 76 vacancies,74 posts are for RPC cadres and 2 posts are for KKC cadres.

Registration Process For The GTTC Exam

Candidates applying for various posts at GTTC can follow these steps for registration :

  • Visit the website of KEA.
  • On the Menu page click on select “recruitment”.
  • In the recruitment section, click on “GTTC/BDA & other recruitment -2024”.
  • After that click on the “Application form for GTTC 2024”.
  • Fill all the required details in the application form.
  • Attach required documents like photographs and signatures of candidates.
  • Make payment according to the category-wise required fees.
  • Submit your application form.

Fees For Registration Of Application

  • General/2A/2B/3A/3B category candidates are required to make a payment of ₹750 for registration.
  • Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category need to make a payment of  ₹500.

Eligibility Criteria For The Candidates

  • The age limit for candidates is between 18 to 35 years.
  • An upper age relaxation of 3 years is being provided to candidates belonging to 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B categories.
  • 5 years of age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates.
  • Educational qualifications required by the candidates can vary as per the post of GTTC.

Selection Criteria For Candidates

For certain posts, the selection of the candidates will be based only on a written exam, and for some posts, there will be both a written exam and an interview.
