The State Selection Board (SSB), Odisha released a short notification on 31st December 2023 regarding Teaching Posts in Non-Government Fully Aided High Schools in Odisha. Full notification regarding TGT was released on 08th January 2024. To apply for SSB Odisha TGT Recruitment, applicants can use the official website.
Online applications for TGT recruitment are made available from 08th January 2024 to 07th February 2024. Candidates are asked to fill out the form in this given period.
Eligibility Criteria For SSB TGT
To be a Trained Graduate teacher, candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria as provided in the notification:-
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in the concerned stream from a UGC-recognised university.
- Candidates must be qualified in the Orissa Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET)
- Candidates need to have a B.Ed degree.
- The age limit of the candidates ranges from 21 years to 38 years.

- On the homepage, click on the link related to the Recruitment of Teachers.
- Under the section on recruitment of teachers, click on “Apply online”.
- Fill in all the asked data in the application precisely.
- Upload all the required documents including a recent passport-size photograph and signature of the candidate.
- Make the payment for the submission of applications.
- Carefully check and verify your entered data and submit the application form

- For general and OBC category fees are ₹500
- For SC/ ST candidates registration fees are ₹200
Selection Procedure For Odisha SSB
To be appointed as a Trained Graduate Teacher in Odisha, one needs to pass all phases of the selection process.
The selection process of SSB TGT recruitment includes-
- Written Examination
The written exam will be in three shifts- Shift 1 (8 am to 10 am), Shift 2 (11:30 am- 1:30 pm) and Shift 3 (3 pm to 5 pm).

- Document Verification
- Final Selection
Hall tickets will be made available on the website from 1st June 2024. Candidates can check the website www.ssbodisha.ac.in for hall tickets. They can download their admit card by entering their birth date and mobile number.
